The project document identifies a number of potential partners including:
- Government institutions in partner countries;
- Global Environment Facility (GEF) supported Large Marine Ecosystem (LME) projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and globally, such as for the Benguela Current (BCLME), Guinea Current (GCLME), Canary Current (CCLME) and Agulhas and Somali Currents (AGSLME);
- Other regional fisheries/ecosystem projects such as the South West Indian Ocean Fisheries Project (SWIOFP) and the Benguela Environment, Fisheries Interaction and Training (BENEFIT) project; and
- other projects and programmes that are interested in collaborating on and/or contributing to one or more of the EAF-Nansen Project components.
